Do your machines accept credit or debit cards?

No, all machines are run with quarters only at this time - There are two bill changers on site to provide quarters (accepting $1, $5, $10, or $20 bills), and four banks a very short walk down the street if you need ATM services.

Credit and debit cards are accepted for all Wash & Fold services.

Are you open, and what are your hours?

We are open for self-service 7 days per week, 365 days per year from 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM, with last wash at 8:30 PM.

The location is staffed for Wash & Fold service M-F 8:30 AM - 4 PM, and SAT-SUN 8 PM - 10 PM with pickup and drop off available after hours via lockers.

How long do the machines take to complete a cycle?

  • All washing machines large and small run about 30 minutes.

  • Dryers run 35 - 40 minutes on the HIGH setting for an average sized load. Dry time depends on the amount and type of laundry.

  • Larger loads (filling more than 1/3 - 1/2 the dryer drum) will take 45 - 60+ minutes depending on the materials.

  • For faster dry times, it is best to spread your laundry between several dryers if you need more than 1/3 of the drum volume.

  • Heavy or thick items such as comforters, pillows, and heavy blankets can take 1 - 1.5+ HRS, sometimes even 2 hours to completely dry.

TIP: Use dryer balls or tennis balls when drying comforters to prevent them from rolling up. Comforters tend to roll up during the cycle, preventing the inside from getting dry, and always clear the lint screen prior to start!

HOW HOT DO THE DRYERS GET?

  • HIGH: 150 - 160 F

  • PERMANENT PRESS (PP): 130 - 140 F

  • LOW: 120 F

The dryer door glass doesn’t feel as hot as other machines, is it working properly?

The heat will turn on and off throughout the cycle to keep the internal temperature within the correct range. If you have a lot of heavy, wet laundry inside, the door will not necessarily feel hot to the touch during the first half of the cycle.

If you’ve only filled 1/3 of the drum, and your laundry is taking significantly longer than 35 - 45 minutes to get dry, or the drum inside feels cold, please do let us know.

Is detergent available for purchase?

  • Tide (Powder)

  • All (Powder)

  • All Free & Clear (Liquid)

  • Downy (Liquid)

  • Bounce Dryer Sheets

WASH & FOLD DAMAGE/LOSS POLICY

If you would like to report a missing item, you must be able to provide a detailed description including garment type, brand, color, size, etc. While we will look into each claim to the best of our ability, we do not offer reimbursement for missing items. We handle your laundry with such care that we find the majority of missing item claims are cases where the item was misplaced by the customer, or never sent to us in the first place. We recommend providing a detailed list of each item that we will check if you are concerned with this issue.

We handle damage issues on a case by case basis. If it is determined that items were damaged during our processing, a discount or reimbursement may be applied. Reimbursement amounts shall be no more than $20 per item and $150 per order.

Any damage or loss claims must be reported within 48 hours of receiving your laundry.

DAMAGE FROM ITEMS IN POCKETS

We make every effort to check each garment as it goes through the wash process, and will remove as many items as possible from pockets prior to washing. However we cannot be held responsible for damage caused by things like pens, nail polish, screws, or other items left in customer laundry.
